COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT

Monroe County, FL

* WHAT...Minor saltwater flooding.

* WHERE...Lower and Middle Keys.

* WHEN...Through early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Minor saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and
lots is expected, mainly around the times of high tide. Some
storm drains will overflow, and some seawalls and docks will be
overtopped. Boaters can expect less clearance under fixed
bridges. Motorists should remember that persistent puddles
around the times of high tide are almost certain to contain a
mix of saltwater.

...PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roadways.

COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT MONDAY... ...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING

Kenedy County, TX Willacy County, TX Cameron County, TX

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Statement, isolated minor coastal
flooding. For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip
currents.

* WHERE...Kenedy Island, Willacy Island and Cameron Island
Counties.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Statement, until 7 AM CDT Monday.
For the High Rip Current Risk, through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Wave run-up may approach the dunes along narrow
beaches. Beach equipment, such as umbrellas and chairs, could
be moved by waves. Vehicles driving along narrow beaches may
experience higher water levels. Elevated water levels may also
occur across the Laguna Madre and South Bay, and along State
Highway 4 west of Boca Chica State Park. Rip currents can
sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

...PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roadways.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

* WHAT...For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.
For the Coastal Flood Statement, isolated minor coastal
flooding.

* WHERE...Coastal Palm Beach County.

* WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, through Wednesday
evening. For the Coastal Flood Statement, through this
afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Some water on low lying roads and property. Rip
currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into
deeper water.

...PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roadways.
